Welcome
I’m Iryna Raiska - a fine artist from Ukraine, now living and creating in the U.S.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would spend hours drawing - not just for fun, but out of a deep fascination with the beauty of nature and the way light moves across the land. That quiet fascination never left me. Over time, it grew into a lifelong devotion to painting and to expressing what words often cannot through light, color, and atmosphere.
New painting
If you believe that art should not only be seen, but deeply felt, this piece was created with you in mind.
For those who value presence, depth, and meaning in their space.
Where stillness takes root.
This painting captures a solitary tree standing in a quiet landscape — a symbol of inner strength, presence, and calm. The muted tones and soft light evoke a feeling of peace, like early morning fog lifting from the earth.
I paint slowly, layer by layer, listening more than directing. For me, it’s a form of meditation — a way to translate what can’t be said into something that can be felt.
Oil on canvas, 16x20 inches.
Subtle gradients of grey-blue and earthy green surround the central figure — a lone tree grounded in stillness, reaching gently toward the light. A contemplative moment made tangible.
Process
Some landscapes don’t just reflect nature — they reveal something within us.
This oil painting is a reflection of nature’s quiet power — distant mountains wrapped in cloud, a waterfall flowing through stillness, light gently dissolving into mist.
I didn’t rush this piece. It was built in layers — like the land itself — patient, evolving, alive.
Each brushstroke was a response to the energy of the scene, not just how it looked, but how it felt.
For me, painting landscapes is not about capturing a place. It’s about offering a space for presence, for reflection, for peace.
Imagine this piece as part of your home or studio — a daily breath of calm, a reminder of something deeper.
